4) SUPPORTING STATEMENTS OF OFFICE OF SUPERINTENDENT Yosemite National Park

Leslie Arnberger, deceased, former Superintendent, Yosemite National Park, former superintendent Cape Cod and Point Reyes National Seashores.

Robert Binnewies. Yosemite National Park Superintendent, 1979-1986; Park Ranger, Yellowstone, 1961-1964; Chief Ranger, Acadia National Park, 1967-1970; Executive Director of Maine Coast Heritage Trust 1970-1975, Vice President of National Audubon Society 1976-1978,  Assistant Commissioner in New York's Department of Environmental Conservation 1988-1989 (Cuomo Administration), and Executive Director of Palisades Interstate Park Commission 1989-1999 (manages twenty-three parks and historic sites in New York and New Jersey), author. Inspired by the latter position, Bob wrote Palisades, 100,000 Acres in 100 Years, published by Fordham University Press.  Bob is now "working, hopelessly, perhaps, on a book about Yosemite".
